After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Bozeman, Russell was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They snuck past the Billings Senior Broncs with  a  19-13 victory. For the Rustlers, this counts as revenge for the   34-15 defeat the Broncs walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in October of 2023.
 Russell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Keegan Fuller led the charge by rushing for 114 yards. Fuller's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 114  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 Despite the loss, Billings Senior still got an impressive performance from   Davyn Lehfeldt, who picked up 43 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 The  win  got Russell back to even at 4-4. As for Billings Senior, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Russell will host Great Falls  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Great Falls is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 27.7  points per game  this season. As for Billings Senior, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bozeman  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
