The Oak Hill Golden Eagles will face off against the Eastbrook Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Hill is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
Oak Hill gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 7-3 win over Marion.

Oak Hill got a great performance from Noah Thompson as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave Thompson a new career-high.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Landon Watts, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckham Lamb, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Tipton hit Eastbrook with a five-run fifth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers fell 13-9 to the Blue Devils. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Blake Jacobs was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Landon McEvoy, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.
Oak Hill pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Eastbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Oak Hill has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Eastbrook struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Oak Hill took their victory against Eastbrook in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3 score. Do the Golden Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
