After losing to Oakland the last time they met, Glide decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Glide strolled past Oakland with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 22-7. The success made it back-to-back wins for Glide.
The win bumped Glide's record up to 3-1. Oakland are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Glide will look to defend their home turf next week against Illinois Valley at 7:00 PM. Glide will be strutting in after a victory while Illinois Valley will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Oakland, they will face off against Regis. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
