Lafayette faced Montgomery County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Generals were the clear victors by  a  14-7 margin over the Indians. Considering the Generals have won ten contests by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Addison Combs was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, three  runs,  and three  RBI while going 3-for-4. She is  on a roll when it comes to  hits, as she's  now  got three or more in each of the last four games she's  played.  Aarilyn Waletich-Silverio was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  home run department: Lafayette  lost a few balls and  finished the game with five  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
Lafayette's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 20-7. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Montgomery County,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 16-5.
 Coming up, Lafayette will host Franklin County  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Generals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Flyers have averaged an impressive 9.3  runs per game this season. As for Montgomery County, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Western Hills  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
