Eastside has played every game this season on their home pitch, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will face off against the Newton Rams at 7:30 p.m. Newton took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Eastside, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, everything went Eastside's way against Arabia Mountain as Eastside made off with a 12-2 victory. It was an even better day for Gabe Guerrroro as he scored three goals for his team.
Meanwhile, Newton was the victim of a rough 6-1 loss at the hands of Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy on Thursday. Newton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Eastside pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those three matches. As for Newton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything went Eastside's way against Newton in their previous meeting back in March of 2019 as Eastside made off with a 6-2 victory. Does Eastside have another victory up their sleeve, or will Newton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
