The Bishop Union Broncos suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 73-52 defeat at the hands of California City. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Bishop Union has suffered against California City since December 18, 2018.
California City found their leader in underclassman Cassius 'Hollywood' Brown, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. Avery 'Skywalker' Spears was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Bishop Union are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6. As for California City, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Union on the road again on Tuesday and play against Boron at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Boron is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for California City, they will head out on the road to face off against Kern Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
