It was another big night for Tate French, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds for Wolsey-Wessington. French has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Moshe Richmond, who scored 19 points along with six assists.
Hill City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Wolsey-Wessington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.
Hill City will head out on the road to face off against the Tatanka at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wolsey-Wessington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rebels at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Dakota (Sanborn Central/Woonsocket is ranked 65th, while the Warbirds are ranked 40th).
