The Milton Black Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Selinsgrove on the road and fell 80-37. Milton has struggled against the Seals recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Ries Naugle, who scored 26 points for Selinsgrove. The team also got some help courtesy of Xaivier Jackson, who scored 12 points.
Milton's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Selinsgrove, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milton will square off against the Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Selinsgrove, they and the Wildcats will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Hunter Hoy and Naugle.
