The Bloomfield Warhawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 79-43 loss at the hands of Manchester. Bloomfield has not had much luck with Manchester recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Tiara Tyson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 40 points and ten rebounds for Manchester. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which Tyson has scored at least a third of Manchester's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Lawrence, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 1 assist.
Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Manchester, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomfield won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hall at 5:30 p.m. on January 25th. As for Manchester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Farmington at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
