Olympian and the Titans are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Olympian Eagles' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Eastlake Titans at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th. Olympian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,188 points over their last 18 matchups.
Last Saturday, Olympian strolled past the Warhawks with points to spare, taking the game 67-50. Given Olympian's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Warhawks are ranked 570th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Olympian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tristan Anderson out in front who scored 17 points. Isaiah Aquino was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, Eastlake took their matchup on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 75-43 victory over the Mariners.
Olympian's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Eastlake, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.
