Brennan won the last time they faced Marshall and things went their way on Friday too. Brennan was the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over Marshall. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Brennan pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Marshall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coming up, Brennan will venture away from home to square off against Edison at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Brennan 3.8, Edison 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Marshall, they are taking a road trip to take on O'Connor at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
