Gentry will challenge Berryville on the road at Homecoming at 7:00 PM on Friday. Gentry are limping into the game on a four-game losing streak.
Things could have been worse for Gentry, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 7-27 loss to Pea Ridge last Friday. Gentry were down by 7-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, after a big victory against Yellville-Summit two weeks ago, Berryville came back down to earth. Berryville were given a punishing 0-36 loss at the hands of Shiloh Christian. Berryville's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous matchup, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
