The Riverside Pirates put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 45-28 victory over Irrigon. That's another feather in the cap for Riverside, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Crystal Sanchez was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with 5 steals. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Justein Tido, who scored 10 points along with 6 steals.
Riverside's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Irrigon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Riverside is on the road again on Saturday and play against Heppner at 4:30 p.m. on December 9th. Heppner will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Irrigon, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South Wasco County at 6:00 p.m.
