Linfield Christian has gone 9-1 against Notre Dame recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Linfield Christian Lions will host the Notre Dame Titans at 3:30 p.m. Linfield Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.3 runs per game this season.
Linfield Christian barely beat Sultana the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went Linfield Christian's way against Sultana on Wednesday as Linfield Christian made off with a 9-2 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won three matchups in a row.
Presley Sloniker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.
On the hitting side, Autumn Cabrera was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Danica Perez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame didn't have quite enough to beat Oxford Academy on Tuesday and fell 5-4.

Notre Dame has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4-1 record this season. Linfield Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-1.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Linfield Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .437. However, it's not like Notre Dame struggles in that department as they've averaged .354. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Linfield Christian's way against Notre Dame when the teams last played back in March of 2023, as Linfield Christian made off with a 13-3 victory.
