The Chowchilla Tribe won the last time they faced the Orange Cove Titans, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Chowchilla enjoyed a cozy 57-42 win over Orange Cove. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chowchilla.
Ryan Deatherage was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with 7 rebounds. The matchup was his eighth in a row with at least ten points. Khaled Escheik was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Chowchilla's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Orange Cove, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Paso Robles the next time they take the court. Chowchilla will head out to face Paso Robles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Orange Cove will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
