This past Friday, the McMinnville Grizzlies were out to avenge their 59-39 loss to the Century Jaguars from their previous meeting last month, but they had no such luck. McMinnville lost to Century on the road by a decisive 56-41 margin.
The Grizzlies' defeat pushed them down to 2-18. The win got Century back to even at 11-11.
The Grizzlies will look to defend their home court on Friday against Glencoe. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup. Century has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Newberg on Tuesday. Newberg is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 63-52 victory over Forest Grove this past Wednesday.
