One of the most notable came from   Kaleb Willoughby, who rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards and a touchdown. Willoughby also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  picking up  two  sacks and making five total tackles (3.0 for loss).  Gabe Price was another key rusher, rushing for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
 Byers' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  nine times. The heavy lifting was done by  Cody Harris and  Willoughby, who racked up  five sacks between them.
 Meanwhile,  everything came up roses for Simla at home  against Calhan on Saturday as the  team secured  a  50-14 win. The  game marked the Cubs' most dominant  victory of the season so far.
 Byers pushed their record up to 5-0 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Simla,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-1.
