Midview (Grafton, Ohio) bested
North Ridgeville (Ohio) 30-14.
The Middies led 14-7 at halftime, but the Rangers regained the lead on a
Cody Callaway touchdown pass to
Logan Bolin with less than a minute remaining in the third.
Midview expanded its lead to nine points entering the fourth quarter. MHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Callaway to Bolin.
The Grafton school has had a rough season, allowing 33.4 points per game.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Middies, who were coming off a 45-28 defeat at the hands of Avon in its previous game. The loss comes after North Ridgeville defeated Rocky River 76-48 last week.
In a West Shore game next week Midview (4-2) takes on Bay, and North Ridgeville (3-3) will go up against Avon also in a West Shore game.
