Lansdale Catholic is 2-7 against the Burrs since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Last Wednesday, Lansdale Catholic had to suffer through a rough 66-36 loss at the hands of the Explorers. Lansdale Catholic has struggled against the Explorers recently, as their match on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, West Catholic pushed their score all the way to 61 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Joseph's Prep. Despite their defeat, West Catholic saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kingston Wheatley, who scored 16 points along with four blocks, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Waters JR, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Lansdale Catholic's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13. West Catholic's record is now 4-14.
Lansdale Catholic was dealt a bruising 69-35 loss at the hands of the Burrs in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Lansdale Catholic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
