The Whitehorse Raiders fell victim to the Water Canyon Wildcats''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They suffered a tough 26-0 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 50 points in the game before, Whitehorse couldn't push the score so high this time.
It was another big night for Johnny Johnson, who threw for 140 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 90 yards on only nine carries.
Another reason for the win was Water Canyon's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Whitehorse's QB won't forget David Barlow anytime soon given Barlow sacked him five times.
Whitehorse now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Water Canyon, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Whitehorse does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Water Canyon will take on Rich at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Rich is ranked second, while Water Canyon is ranked fourth).
