While Catholic of Pointe Coupee put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for St. John. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Eagles. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Catholic of Pointe Coupee and bumps their season record up to 20-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for St. John, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-5.

Looking ahead, Catholic of Pointe Coupee will take on E.D. White in a tournament on Saturday. As for St. John, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-8 loss against St. Michael on the 8th.
