Milton was the 2-1 winner over Central when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Harmony Taliancich paced Milton's offense, picking up eight kills. Taliancich got some help from Emma Messer and her 18 assists. Messer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Milton has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Chipley on the 6th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Jay on the 6th.
