The Bremen Lions had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 45-34 win over Mishawaka on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bremen also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Bremen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Teagan Feathers led the charge by scoring eight points along with 12 rebounds. Feathers also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Kincaid, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
The win got Bremen back to even at 7-7. As for Mishawaka, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-7.
Bremen will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Noble at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mishawaka, they will head out on the road to face off against Plymouth at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
