Bodie Fidgeon was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over six innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.
In other batting news, Michael Perez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert McCumbers, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and three RBI.
Interlachen's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for St. Joseph Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.
Interlachen's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: St. Joseph Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .439. It's a different story for Interlachen, though, as they've only averaged .363. Will they be able to contain St. Joseph Academy's hitters?
Everything went St. Joseph Academy's way against Interlachen in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as St. Joseph Academy made off with an 11-1 victory. Do the Fighting Flashes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
