The McClave Cardinals can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Granada 57-14 at home. That looming 57-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for McClave yet this season.
Leading McClave to victory were McKayla Kiniston and Abrielle Gomez. Kiniston scored 18 points along with seven steals and five rebounds, while Gomez scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kiniston has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ashlynn Steinbrunn, who scored two points along with five assists and three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for McClave and bumps their season record up to 11-1. As for Granada, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
McClave and Cheraw will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Granada, they will head out on the road to take on Cheyenne Wells at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
