Basketball Recap: Kern Valley Drops Highest Score of Season Against Frazier Mountain

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kern Valley). They breezed by the Frazier Mountain Falcons to the tune of 69-13 on Friday. The Broncs pushed the score to 61-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons had no chance of recovering from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kern Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joey Galvan, who posted 16 points. That's the most points Galvan has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Madden, who earned eight points and four steals.

Kern Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Kern Valley's record now sits at 5-9. As for Frazier Mountain, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kern Valley will challenge Rosamond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frazier Mountain, they will take on Boron at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
