The Forest Hills Yellow Jackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 76-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Stanly. Forest Hills has not had much luck with West Stanly recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Forest Hills' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Amari Melton, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds, and Jahmarion Mingo who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mingo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kj Chambers, who scored ten points.
Forest Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for West Stanly, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Forest Hills will head out on the road to square off against Central Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for West Stanly, they will be playing at home against Anson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Anson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Thursday.
