Jose Velez Game Report: @ Lyons-Decatur Northeast

Jose Velez has led Madison in blocks on the season and he led the team again on Tuesday. Velez posted eight points in addition to seven boards and three blocks. The effort marked the most blocks he has had since back in December of 2023.

Velez and Madison will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Point-Beemer at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. The Dragons had to take a loss when they last met the Cadets, but Velez had little to do with the loss: he put up nine points and three steals. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
