After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mattanawcook, Lee Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Searsport Vikings 16-1. Considering the Pandas' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The victory got Lee Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Searsport, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Lee Academy will venture away from home to square off against Penobscot Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Searsport, they will host Bangor Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
