After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cathedral, the Dymally Challengers were happy to have found some success on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lincoln 43-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Dymally has posted yet this season.
Gerald Coland was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amonte Mobley, who scored 14 points.
Dymally is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Lincoln, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dymally on the road again on Wednesday and play against Jordan at 4:30 p.m. on January 17th. Jordan is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to challenge Bravo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bravo will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
