After a string of five wins, the Ontario Christian Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bosco Tech.
Despite the loss, Ontario Christian had strong showings from Alex Yang, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds, and Cole Jones, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Yang's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jack Schloeman, who scored seven points.
Ontario Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Bosco Tech, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Ontario Christian is on the road again on Saturday and play against Glendora at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Glendora has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three matchups. Bosco Tech won't have much time to rest: their next match is against San Marino at 7:30 p.m. on December 2nd. San Marino presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bosco Tech in California (San Marino is ranked 30th, while Bosco Tech is ranked 143rd).
