 On the hitting side,  Jack O'Neil was  excellent,  going 1-for-1 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jayce Devine, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Xaverian Brothers has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record  this season. As for Ashland, their loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 10-10.
 Xaverian Brothers will  challenge Mansfield at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Xaverian Brothers: 2.6, Mansfield: 3.8) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Ashland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
