Volleyball Recap: Evelyn Greene's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jordan over Cedar Ridge + How To Watch

If Jordan was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southern School of Energy and Sustainability on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves on Wednesday. The Falcons have struggled against the Fighting Red Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Jordan ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 25-19, 25-19.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evelyn Greene, who had 24 digs and two aces. Greene is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Aniya McClain was another key player, getting ten digs and three aces.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Cedar Ridge, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Jordan and Cedar Ridge will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Falcons will take on rival Apex at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cedar Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Orange at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
