NSI Academy scored well below their previous average of 59.5 points per game on Friday, but luckily it didn't cost them. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Rock River 2-0. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps national rankings' forecast.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. NSI Academy will take on Kaycee at home at 1:00 PM next week. Kaycee have averaged 32.29 points over the course of their past three games, so NSI Academy might be in for a challenge. As for Rock River, they will face off against Midwest. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Rock River and six for Midwest.
