1A South Central - West recap October 8, 2013
Zillah extended the longest winning streak in 1A South Central - West this week by beating Granger, 55-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Leopards.
Zillah took down the Spartans 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
La Salle's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Daniel Boutillier threw for 161 yards and Gus Bonny had 83 yards receiving. On the ground Matt Wellner chipped in 31 yards. Austin Gasseling helped La Salle's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 52 yards.
Bonny was the best wideout in the league this week as the Lightning lost to Cle Elum-Roslyn. Bonny racked up 4 receptions for 83 yards. Gasseling helped La Salle's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 52 yards.
La Salle's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Lightning feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Boutillier has thrown for 671 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Gasseling has 10 catches for 233 yards.
At the moment, the Warriors are in fourth, while Naches Valley is in second.
Rock Winters' team led the league in scoring this week by notching 55 points on Granger.
