Christian Academy of Knoxville extended their winning streak to 11 games thanks to a huge performance from Caden Owens. Everything went the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors' way against Apostolic Christian on Thursday as the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors made off with an 84-60 win thanks in part to Owens, who went 15 for 24 on his way to 38 points. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Teeno Hutchinson, who posted 12 points in addition to six assists and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Apostolic Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rogan Bailey went 10 of 17 on his way to 23 points. With that strong performance, Bailey is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Wilson, who put up seven points.

Christian Academy of Knoxville pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Apostolic Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Christian Academy of Knoxville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-38 win against Barbourville on the 21st. After both having extra time off, Apostolic Christian and Apostolic Christian Academy will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Apostolic Christian is facing Apostolic Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Apostolic Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
