The Ralston Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 50-37 to Beatrice. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ralston of the 71-63 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.
Ralston lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Hunter Eckley, who scored seven points. Winner Mutoke was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Ralston bumped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Beatrice, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.
