The Parkersburg Big Reds scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Capital on the road to the tune of 99-27. Parkersburg has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.
Parkersburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kenslee Lemasters led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lemasters has scored all season. Trinity Balog was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Parkersburg pushed their record up to 12-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.6 points per game. As for Capital, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Parkersburg will be playing at home against George Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. George Washington will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. As for Capital, they will head out on the road to challenge Riverside at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Riverside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Wednesday.
