Section 5 Livingston III recap October 22, 2013
Cuba-Rushford moved up to 314 from 340 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 5 Livingston III. The Rebels climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Cassadaga Valley 53-36.
Perry added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Canisteo-Greenwood, 57-14. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Yellowjackets.
Cory Dillon threw for 178 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Andrew Hollister was the best running back in the league this week. In 5 carries, he ran for 138 yards as Perry fell to Geneseo. Dillon also contributed to the rushing game with 85 yards on the ground.
On the heels of Dillon and Christian Hollister, Jeremy Ohlson's team has had great success on offense. Dillon leads the league in passing with 1,494 yards, while Hollister has rushed for 599 yards this season. The Golden Knights' Jake Vannorman leads the league in receiving yards with 551 on 21 catches.
The Yellowjackets took down the Redskins 57-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Dillon ran for 85 yards during the win.
