The Cold Springs Eagles put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Hanceville, posting a 58-30 win at home. Considering Cold Springs has won six matchups by more than 27 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Ella Bruer, who scored 12 points along with 7 steals. Another player making a difference was Ella Dickerson, who scored 14 points.
Cold Springs has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. As for Hanceville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cold Springs has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Holly Pond at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Holly Pond will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Cold Springs is ranked 14th). As for Hanceville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Vinemont at 5:45 p.m. Hopefully Vinemont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
