If Pacific was riding high fresh off their 14-0 takedown of Hermann last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians fell just short of the Union Wildcats by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Colton Kossuth was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 3-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Pacific's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Union, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pacific will take on St. Charles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Union, they will be playing at home against Blair Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
