The Sidney Team will head out on the road to face off against the Unatego Spartans at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Sidney is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On December 1st, Sidney suffered a tough 69-46 loss at the hands of Chenango Valley.
Meanwhile, Unatego pushed their score all the way to 55 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were outmatched by Cooperstown on the road and fell 82-55.
Sidney now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Unatego, they now also have a losing record at 1-2.
Sidney came up short against Unatego when the teams last played back in January, falling 61-49. Can Sidney avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
