It was fun while it lasted, but Duke's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Saturday. They took a 37-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sterling Tigers. The game marked Duke's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Duke's loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-1. As for Sterling, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Duke will be home for the holidays to greet Granite at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Granite knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Duke likes a good challenge. Sterling and Fort Cobb-Broxton will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
