Zionsville had to endure  a  seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They managed  a  46-40 victory over the Lawrence Central Bears  on Saturday.
 Zionsville had a senior duo take command as  Zachary Trent threw for 297 yards and six touchdowns and  Eugene Hilton picked up 152 receiving yards and three touchdowns. With that strong performance,  Trent is now averaging an impressive 4  passing touchdowns per game.  Nolan Teising was another key player, picking up 69 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Zionsville wouldn't let Lawrence Central keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles.  Brady Peterson was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance. His also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  forcing two fumbles and making five total tackles.
 Despite the loss, Lawrence Central still got an impressive performance from   Terry Walker Iii, who threw for 287 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 51 yards on only six carries.  Antonio Williams-Holland was  Walker Iii's top target, picking up 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 The  win  got Zionsville back to even at 1-1. As for Lawrence Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zionsville will head out to  challenge Westfield  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Zionsville is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Lawrence Central, they will venture away from home to  take on Edwardsville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
