After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kaufman, the Ford Panthers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Community 66-38 on the road. For Ford, this counts as revenge for the 48-46 loss the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaden Scott, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Daxton Osment, who scored nine points.
Ford's win bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Community, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-27.
Ford will take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Community, they will head out on the road to square off against the Foxes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Caddo Mills presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Braves in Texas (the Foxes are ranked 179th, while the Braves are ranked 1299th).
