The Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 54-29 defeat at the hands of Blue Ridge Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Appalachian Christian School has scored all season.
Appalachian Christian School's loss came despite strong showings from Blake Waldron and Isaac Morris. Waldron scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Morris scored eight points along with six rebounds and six steals. Waldron has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.
Appalachian Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Blue Ridge Christian, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-4.
Appalachian Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Blue Ridge Christian will head out on the road to square off against the Conquerors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
