After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Phillipsburg, Hillsborough was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Westfield Blue Devils as they made off with  a  42-21 win. The Raiders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.

Hillsborough's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Andrew Schwarz, who rushed for 151 yards and four  touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Those  four  rushing touchdowns gave  Schwarz a new career-high.  Shane Khurana was in the mix  as well, providing Hillsborough with two scores.
 Hillsborough didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Anthony Guerrero and  Jayden Carter. Guerrero also  made seven  total tackles, which is notable because Hillsborough is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  four  total tackles, but 0-3 otherwise.
The  win snapped Hillsborough's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 2-4 record. As for Westfield,  this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-4.
 Coming up, Hillsborough will take on Bridgewater-Raritan at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Westfield, they will face off against North Brunswick on Friday. The Blue Devils will be up against the North Brunswick Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.83  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
