The Tuscarora Titans's 13-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Wednesday. They walked away with a 71-62 victory over Manchester Valley. Tuscarora's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Manchester Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Braylen Williams, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of William Cuneo, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Tuscarora's win ended a 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-10. As for Manchester Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tuscarora and Oakdale will face off on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Oakdale presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tuscarora in Maryland (Oakdale is ranked 109th, while Tuscarora is ranked 237th). As for Manchester Valley, Manchester Valley and South Carroll will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. South Carroll will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
