The Crestline Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their eighth straight defeat. They took a 42-23 bruising from Plymouth. Crestline has struggled against Plymouth recently, as their match on Saturday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Crestline lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kennedi Sipes. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with three steals. That was a full 60.9% of Crestline's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyn Noblit, who scored six points.
Crestline has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Plymouth, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.
