Willcox is a perfect 10-0 against Bisbee since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cowboys will square off against the Pumas at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Willcox's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
Willcox's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Desert Christian 21-0. The Cowboys have beaten the Eagles the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Alyssa Gonzalez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Willcox got a massive performance out of Karlie St Clair, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles St Clair has posted since back in February. Nataly Thompson was another key player, going a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Willcox was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .656. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .522 or higher in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Bisbee's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against Tombstone, falling 15-4. Surprisingly, this marked the Pumas' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
Willcox's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.3 runs over those games. As for Bisbee, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.
Everything went Willcox's way against Bisbee in their previous meeting back in March, as Willcox made off with a 15-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cowboys since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
